For Beginner: Battle System

Nah, sekarang gw banyak ngeliat NEP(Never Ending Project) ato stuck dari sang beginner karena kebingungan masalah Battle System yang aneh", dan banyak yg nanya juga tentang SBS, ABS, bahkan ada pula yg nanyain LMBS, nah, untuk nasehat aja seh, buat para beginner...
poin poin yang harus kalian ketahui:
1. Berfikirlah Sebelum Bertindak
nah, seperti yg dibilang diatas, banyak NEP, ato proyek yang tidak pernah selesai dalam pembuatan karena rumitnya config battle system kyk SBS, ABS, dll. jadi, berfikirlah, apakah anda mampu? apakah anda berani menyentuh config rumit? ya meski hasilnya bagus, tapi tidak bisa dipaksakan.
2. Gunakan Default Battle RM
daripada mikirin Battle System aneh", mending pakai yang sudah ada dahulu, jangan pikir yang laen, seperti:
"wah, Sideview bagus ya.." "ABS juga bagus tuh, coba ah.." "wah, LMBS lebih kewl"
^kembali ke awal, apakah kau sanggup? battle system default aja kalian belum tentu bisa, apalagi Battle system/engine yang lebih advanced? think again...
3. Nge-konfig Battle System/Engine tidaklah mudah
kembali ke sebelumnya, battle system default kalian belum tentu bisa kan, cobalah konfig Battle system yang ada dahulu, buatlah proyek pertamamu yang simple dan kamu sendiri paham, jangan membuat proyek pertamamu dengan gameplay memuaskan tetapi akhir"nya malah NEP karena bingung ngekonfig battle.
itu aja yg bisa gw sampein, moga bisa menyadarkan dan memberi tau kepada beginner kalau ngekonfig CBS yang aneh" itu tidak mudah, tapi postingan ini bukan berarti untuk menakut"i beginner agar tidak memakai CBS, tidak, tujuan post ini hanyalah:
"pelajari hal yang ada terlebih dahulu, jangan memikirkan hal lain yang lebih menarik namun tidak membuahkan hasil".

Event Encounter

Indonesian Tutorial

Banyak banget newbie yg tanya ttg "gimana cara biar ketika setelah battle musuhnya langsung ilang" dll dll
Well, gw berusaha untuk bikin tutorialnya dan berharap gaada newbie yg nanyain ttg ini lagi.
langsung aja deh
1. Bikin Event
bikin eventnya tentunya.. dan jangan lupa diberi gambar musuhnya..
2. Random Movement
Movement dibikin random, dan speed kita ganti jadi faster, biar agak berbobot, terus frequency jadi highest.
3. Event Touch Trigger
kita bikin Trigger jadi Event Touch, biar ketika musuh nyentuh kita, langsung battle.
4. Battle Processing
Kita langsung pergi ke event page, di event page langsung bikin Battle Processingnya,, dan jangan lupa dibikin Can Escape, biar gak terlalu mainsetrum.
5. Erase Event
Jangan pake Switch! atau musuh kalian gak akan pernah keluar lagi,, pake erase event..

Navest - Simple One Person Menu

My very first RGSS3 script...

Opening:
this script is recommended for a game that just need one actor only.

How to install:
place this script under material but above main

Config:
you could change the Menu Windowskin by copy and paste the other window to Graphics/System,, and the name is "MenuWindow"
but you can change the name at the script configuration

Compatibility:
with Moghunter - Wallpaper EX click here

Version History:
1.0: released
1.5: added config to change window position
2.0: added status window in menu surface, ane delete status command.

Tips: Identifying Incompatible Scripts

Another Indonesian Tutorial.. :3


okelah,, sekarang wa mau kupas tentang Mengidentifikasi Script yg tak Kompatibel...
mungkin tips ini sangat cocok buat Scripter untuk mengecek kompatibilitas, dan untuk Beginner yg biasanya tanya" tentang ko bisa gini kk, ko bisa gitu kk,, ini kenapa kk,,
well,,
sekarang wa mau nyontohin atau gejala ketidakkompatibelan suatu script :v
nih contohnya:
banyak banget yg nanyain tentang ini, dan, inilah jawabannya,, itu disebabkan script yg tdk kompatibel dgn script lain..
untuk mengidentifikasi apa yang membuatnya gak kompatibel, bisa di kasih trik,
1. Buat Project Baru
bikin project baru buat identifikasi..
 







 sekarang coba pergi ke script editor, dan liat pada yg paling bawah..
















2. Copy - Paste
 Sekarang, coba copy dan paste semua  script yang ada di project original kamu dan project baru tadi...
 Nah, sekarang waktu testplay dan melakukan hal yang sama, sehingga menjadi error, log error akan sama seperti yg diatas, untuk mengatasinya adalah..
3. Delete
delete 1 script yang dirasa tidak terlalu penting, lalu testplay,, kalau masih error, coba delete 1 script lagi, dan testplay, (dst dst.) dan kalau sudah benar dan tidak error, coba kembalikan script yang didelete pertama kali dan testplay, apabila sudah tidak mengalami error, berarti pokok permasalahan berada di script yg didelet kedua.
sekarang, tinggal delete script tersebut yg ada di Project original. dan kalau tidak error, berarti memang yang menyebabkan error adalah benar script tsb.

apabila masih error, pindah ke project yang baru tadi, dan copy data yang ada di database dan map,, caranya, buka file original projectmu, lalu buka folder data,, disana kamu akan melihat data dengan nama Actor, Animation, dll. copy data yg ada di database(Actor, Skill, Class, Item,dll) dan Mapnya(ini yg terpenting).. dan kalau sudah di testplay dan tidak ada error,, berarti Sukses!!

kalau masih error, hubungi pihak yang berwajib.

Balancing Database Guide [RMVX Ace]

For non-Indonesian reader:
this guide writen with Indonesian informal language, so don't try to ask google. and maybe you can also search similar reference in google or other search engine for this.
Nah, sekarang saya mau ngasih tau untuk apa" aja yg butuh dibalance pada Database,, klo kamu pikir balancing itu gampang dan gak ribet, sebenernya sih ribet,, karena defaultnya juga gak balance sih :v
1. Actor Initial Level and Equipment
yang pertama wa bakal kupas balancing pada Initial level dan equipment, pada Initial level kamu hanya harus menentukan level yg cocok untuk actor, dalam hal ini, actor yg join party belakangan gak mungkin kan bakal kamu kasih initial levelnya 1?? untuk initial equipment juga, masa actor yg join belakangan kasih equipment yg paling jelek?? pasti kamu harus memberikannya yg lebih bagus, agar di setiap actor ada persamaannya dan seimbang.
2. Class Parameter
yg kedua yaitu class, klo udah masalah class itu juga nyambung ama Enemy,, entar bakal wa jelasin :3 untuk class, selain parameter yg harus balance ama parameter enemy,, exp yg dibutuhin untuk level up juga harus diseimbangin,, untuk selengkapnya bakal ada di enemy
3. Weapon and Armor
weapon dan armor juga berpengaruh pada balancing parameter, klo misalnya parameter enemy dan class sama, tapi apa jadinya klo dikasih weapon? misal, ATK class kamu kasih lvl 1: 10, ATK enemy: 10, nah tapi klo dikasih weapon, misal weapon dikasih 10 juga, berarti ATK armor jadi 20, ini sudah tidak seimbang,, hal yg sama bakal terjadi di armor juga.
4. Pricing
harga juga bergantung pada balancing, klo kemahalan juga gak enak kan? klo kemurahan malah playernya yg seneng, dan game akan sangat mudah untuk dimainkan.
5. Enemy Parameter
Enemy parameter harus balance ama Class Parameter, gaboleh kurang, apalagi lebih, klo kurang gak seru, enemy bakal cepet mati, klo lebih juga gak seru, player bakal cepet mati karena enemy :v
6. Enemy Exp Reward
untuk yg ini berkaitan ama Class Parameter Exp, klo reward yg diberikan terlalu banyak, actor akan cepat level up dan tentunya game seperti tidak berbobot, klo terlalu dikit juga player gak akan seneng, karena musuhnya udah parameternya tinggi, tapi si actor malah blom lvl up dan parameternya kecil :v
7. Enemy Gold Reward
gold reward tentunya berkaitan dengan pricing, klo gold rewardnya kegedean, pricenya juga rasanya murah, padahal klo ukuran developer harganya mahal :v

BUMP(Action Battle) System

Long time no see, now I will update my event trick, Bump System!
do u ever play Ys 1 or Ys 2 or Ys 1&2?
this is battle system like in that game, i don't know if there is a game with system like this, well if you want to make a game using this system, you come at right place!
this eventing system is not hard, but this will take more time to make this, well, making good game is not that fast right?
You just need to know about variables, switch, etc.
this event system need HUD and Sensor script, I use MOGHUNTER's script for this demo, and one thing, you can't add people to your party, why? ahh, you'll know it later...

Final Fantasy : Crystal Chronicles - Ancient Crystal

Hello, I'm Navest, people call me Evan, now I will show you my own game, I made this with RPG maker VX Ace, the name is Final Fantasy : Crystal Chronicles - Ancient Crystal, this is Action RPG game, like Legend of Zelda series, and, don't be mad if I use Final Fantasy name, but, if you ask me, why I choose the name of Final Fantasy for my game's name, the answer is Because, I'm a Final Fantasy fan, And this is the screenshot :

Characters:

1. Aluxes Highwind
    Strongest Knight in his Village, Eikhbelheim Village, he has brother, and his brother is Knight like him, but his brother is lost, and Aluxes want to search for his brother.
Aluxes is main male protagonist, and experienced knight, he was fight through many battle.

2. Alice Renard
    The Honest and Kindly Mage, and shy, but brave, she is Aluxes's best friend, Alice always help Aluxes in his mission, she is very good girl.

3. Nyaru
The Dark Queen, she is main Antagonist, her mission is collect for Ancient crystal, because with Ancient Crystal, she will get the powerful strength, her hope will granted, and she will be the Queen of the World.
